Ripest Cherry Books is the brainchild of chef, screenwriter, playwright, voiceover artist, crafter and author extraordinaire Suzie Bohannon, reflecting her multitude of interests into various pet subjects ranging from nutrition and dietary lifestyles, to lucid dreaming, gardening, survival, mysticism, modern motherhood, and beyond.
The proverbial Jane-of-all-trades, Suzie Bohannon has excelled in a variety of different areas throughout her life; and graduated Summa Cum Laude as a Regent Scholar from the UCLA School of Film and Television in 2007 with a degree in Screenwriting and Film Production. Ever since her son Mylo was born with a multitude of special needs in 2010, Suzie has prioritized his care and well being. Nevertheless, she has continued to endeavor at passion projects, including winning various screenwriting awards, developing menus for The Ashram in Calabasas and Aro Ha in New Zealand, writing the cookbooks “No Sweeter Than the Ripest Cherry” and “The Way We Eat,” and writing, directing, and also producing the musical burlesque show “Cherries, Rare & Fair: A Quest for Orgasmic Rainbows.”
And yes, it would seem that cherries are a running theme, and no, it’s certainly not a coincidence. It probably has something to do with all the cherry trees in Suzie’s backyard that she grew up with…
